Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
the uterus is anteverted and normal in size with low anterior intramural myoma nodules measuring 1.5 x 1.4 cm, 1.5 x 1.5 cm and 1.5 x 1.3 cm. the endometrium is thick and hyperechoic. both ovaries are normal in size echotexture. posterior to the uterus is a 6.3x2.1x2.8 cm anechoic cystic structure with a thin echogenic strand transversing it probably representing an encysted fluid collection with a flimsy adhesion. doc, pls simplify it for me. thanks
hello i read your question and understand your concern i would like to ask that * your age * marital status * why you went for this usg * any lower abdominal pain/discharge any fever? * history of mennorhagia (excessive menstruation) according to your USG your uterus in normal in size and position but you are having multiple of small fibroid s in your uterus and endometrium is thick that is more than normal, and fluid collection posterior to uterus with adhesions indicating PID pelvic inflammatory disease so i would suggest to go to your gyno and show your usg to her and get treated i hope my answer will satisfy you good luck & tc
